Pine Island Audubon Sanctuary is sponsoring a new event called 2014 Bioblitz  April 25th-26th.  The event is designed to record, collect, and observe as many species as possible in a 24 hour period. Good News! Senate passes Flood Insurance Bill

  On Thursday the US Senate gave final congressional approval to the Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act (HR.3370). The bill passed the Senate 72-22.
