Pine Island Audubon Sanctuary is sponsoring a new event called 2014 Bioblitz  April 25th-26th.  The event is designed to record, collect, and observe as many species as possible in a 24 hour period. They are seeking interested volunteers. They are hoping to include universities, clubs, parks, state agencies, and private industries. The first part of the event will be survey focused, with a public event on Saturday.  If you would like to participate contact Mark Miller at miller.4075@gmail.com.
