What could be better than a few fabulous fall days on the Outer Banks? How about spending October 10 –13 on the Outer Banks with the option of touring a select offering of 19 newly constructed coastal homes and three large-scale renovation transformations. Touring on your own timetable, you can visit homes that are scattered from Corolla on the north beach to south Nags Head to the town of Manteo on Roanoke Island. Our home selections feature new designs and many incorporate new technologies, products and best building practices. The furnishings and the finishing touches provide the “oohs and aahs” within the homes and the relative calm pace of off-season and the gorgeous fall weather give you the same feeling outdoors. Live here, visit here, collect rents from those who do – whatever your need, one of these homes is sure to fill that need!

Our participating builder members, their staff members and vendors will be in the homes until 6 p.m. each day except on Sunday, when the 2013 Parade wraps up at 3 p.m. Your $10.00 ticket may be purchased in advance by mail, at any of the homes or at select ticket outlets. Your ticket is valid for all four days of the event and ticket proceeds will go to support the Outer Banks Food Pantry and other local charities. Just after Labor Day, you will be able to preview the entire Parade at your convenience on our website or you may call the Outer Banks Home Builders Association at 252-449-8232 for more information.

And remember, if you are thinking about building a home, there is no better time than NOW! Timing the market is a game you can’t win. With interest rates remaining low, but edging upward, competitive pricing and great selection, NOW is the time to build your dream home. New homes carry about 100 years worth of warranty when you unlock that door! There’s no reason to wait to make your move. Don’t miss out on today’s real estate market.
